Respiratory diseases spread invisibly through the air of our public spaces. Tracking the spread of novel pathogens is key to preventing them from becoming the next deadly pandemic, and our current infrastructure is too slow to respond.

Lancelot Labs is building an automated, always-on detector for viruses in our public spaces. Designed for workplaces, schools, transit hubs, and healthcare facilities, we aim to provide a near-real-time signal of pathogen presence without requiring laboratory expertise or nasal swabs.

The Lancelot Labs monitor will be able to run unattended for weeks at a time and alert within an hour if it detects any of its targeted pathogens. And if a new pathogen were to start spreading, every Lancelot Labs unit will be able to start watching for it within days.
